Complete set of the sale of the extensive library of Boncompagni (1821-1894) which was considered the largest Italian library of the 19th century. Eminent historian of mathematics of physics his library features an impressive amount of works of great scientists of all times (Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, Newton, etc.) of which he sometimes possessed several copies.
