Median 2° (325 x 235mm). Roman and gothic types, genealogical stemma of the Dukes of Milan printed in red, shoulder notes, initial spaces with printed guide-letter. (First leaf reversed and expertly rehinged, discreet marginal repairs to final two leaves, occasional marginal notes and armorial shield on a2r washed.) Red morocco with blind fillets, gilt turn-ins, marbled endpapers, edges marbled and gilt, by L. Tripon (short split at front hinge, very minor wear at extremities). Provenance: small armorial blindstamp on first leaf and k5 -- Giannalisa Feltrinelli (bookplate, sale Christie's NY, 7 October 1997, lot 15).
