Chancery 8° (134 x 93mm). Gothic type. Opening initial space with printed guide-letter. (Repairs in last 3 leaves with a little loss, some staining.) Modern vellum, old title written on fore-edge. Provenance: gift inscription dated 1618 on pastedown from Georgius Steuben to his son -- early annotations and underlinings.
Second edition, with additional orations and rarer than the first (1495) edition. HR *3981; GW 5549; Goff B-1207.
