    Balustre, sur trois pieds-griffes, les attaches formant médaillon avec des profils d'homme et femme, le corps appliqué d'une frise de rinceaux fleuris, gravé de cadres amatis, le bec verseur orné de feuillages, l'anse angulaire en bois, le couvercle à charnière avec large prise en putto assis sur un dauphin, poinçons sous le corps: ville, millésime, maître-orfèvre et striche

    Cette cafetière se distingue surtout par cet exubérant putto chevauchant un dauphin que l'on retrouve sur une chocolatière datant de 1780 illustrée dans le catalogue d'exposition Oudenaards Zilver, Audenarde, 1994, p. 15., mais qui présente un décor beaucoup plus néoclassique que notre pièce.
