Super-chancery 2° (309 x 217mm). Gothic type, printer's device printed in red, initial spaces. (Without first and fifth blank leaves and lacking the intervening 3 leaves containing the tabula, a little worming, heavier in first and last two quires, a few leaves browned, light marginal dampstaining.) Contemporary wooden boards, author's name written on lower board (leather back removed, without clasps). Provenance: contemporary annotations.
FIRST AND ONLY INCUNABLE EDITION. Although considered a single edition, the four parts appear to have circulated independently and often survive as individual volumes. HC *4410; BMC V, 278; GW 6032; Goff C-129.
