8o (204 x 134 mm). Title printed in red and black with initials of the Imperial Library, surmounted by the Imperial crown. Contemporary quarter cloth and marbled boards.
A Russian mid-nineteenth century auction catalogue, the auctioneers, Gluzel & Goetz, appear to have conducted a few earlier sales at the Imperial Public Library, a rather extraordinary privilege. The printed prices against each lot indicate the figure at which bidding would start.
