FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION. 'Kubla Khan,' well known for having been inspired by a dream after the reading of a passage in Purchas his Pilgrimage, had been written in 1797; part I of 'Christabel' was also written in 1797, the second part in 1800; both poems remained unfinished.
