3 volumes, 8° (227 x 131mm). Engraved frontispiece portrait after Godfrey Kneller and 5 plates. 'Lozenge and star' ornaments. (Some browning and spotting, heaviest at the beginning of vol. I.) Contemporary crimson morocco, triple gilt fillets, gilt-panelled spines with green morocco lettering-pieces and repeated floral ornament, gilt edges.
FINE CONTEMPORARY MOROCCO BINDING. Gaskell Baskerville 16; together with 24 other volumes, including the works of Aphra Behn (6 vols., 1871) and Philip Massinger (4 vols., 1813), and an extra-illustrated copy of Sidney Lee's Life of Shakespeare (2 vols., 1899). (32)
