Provenance: Harry and Caresse Crosby (inscription on front free endpaper '['Crosby Cross'] , Harry Grew Crosby , a Paris ce le 6 septembre 1925 , Hotel Goya', with inkstamp below 'RA'S RAYS CHEER'; 'Black Sun' blindstamp on flyleaf; gilt armorial 'Crosby Cross' supralibros on both boards; extensive underlinings and markings in Harry's hand and manuscript symbols in ink on lower pastedown; gilt morocco 'Crosby Cross' bookplate on upper pastedown)--William Reese Company, CT (loosely-inserted bookseller's invoice dated 22 April 1996).
