I], either inlaid to size or tipped onto blank leaves, comprising: 7 watercolours and drawings, including a sheet of pencil and watercolour drawings by George Cruikshank; 1,695 prints and other items of printed ephemera, many of the prints coloured, by George Cruikshank, Isaac Cruikshank, Robert Cruikshank, John Leech, Thomas Rowlandson, James Gillray and others; 17 manuscript and signed items, including an autograph letter signed from George Cruikshank. (Occasional light spotting, some light offsetting, original titles removed.) Early 20th-century crushed red morocco gilt by Bayntun, Bath, covers with border of gilt and black rules enclosing panel of gilt gouges with foliate corner-pieces, gilt spine compartments, gilt edges (extremities rubbed and scuffed).
