1. The Listeners and Other Poems. London: Constable, 1911. 16° (130 x 100). Vellum, gilt edges, green ties, blue half morocco case. PROOF COPY DATED A YEAR BEFORE THE PUBLISHED EDITION. With address of publisher on title (removed in the published edition), prelimiaries misnumbered (corrected in the published edition). Exhibited: Grolier Club (exhibition label loosely inserted).
2. The Listeners and Other Poems. London: Constable, 1912. 16° (134 x 103mm). Original dark red cloth, gilt, blue half morocco case. FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY (front free end paper inscribed 'Walter de la Mare, with all good wishes, February 1929').
3. Songs of Childhood. London, New York, Bombay: Longmans, Green, 1902. 8° (170 x 101mm). Photogravure frontispiece after Richard Doyle (loose). Original half parchment, blue half morocco case. Provenance: Janet and C.R. Ashbee (booklabel, inscription on front free end paper 'Janet, Xmas, 1911'). FIRST EDITION, published under the pseudonym of Ramel. Ashbee was the founder of the Essex Press (1898-1910).
4. Poems. London: John Murray, 1906. 8° (174 x 111mm). Contemporary green cloth, gilt foliage design on spine, blue half morocco case. PRESENTATION COPY (inscribed on fly-leaf 'Walter de la Mare, all good wishes, April 1924'); and three other titles by De La Mare including another edition of The Listeners (1916); together with three typed letters from the author to Halsted Vander Poel, Taplow, 31 July, 23 August and 19 October 1939, 3 pages, 4to, envelopes, agreeing to sign and inscribe two books, referring to a setting of The Listeners by a friend of Mr Vander Poel's, and welcoming his sympathy 'with England in these present troubles'.
