PRICED in a contemporary hand. According to his own account, this is ANTOINE-AUGUST RENOUARD'S FIRST SALE CATALOGUE ("Catalogue d'un Amateur," Vol. IV, p. 264). Detune, a bookseller at The Hague, was called by Renouard in the 1854 sale catalogue of his own library, a "grand amateur". Detune himself conducted at least one sale (see Blogie IV, col. 37). Several first editions of Giordano Bruno are highlights of the sale. Not in North. Blogie II, col. 25.
