Dine's rendition is modelled after John Thornton's work of the same name (1807), and includes poems by John Ashbery, Hart Crane, Robert Creeley, Thom Gunn, Denise Levertov, Josephine Miles, Frank O'Hara, Ron Padgett, Sylvia Plath, William Carlos Williams, and others.
