In hoc volumin haec continentur, Ioannis Baptistae Egnatii in Dioscoridem ab Hermolao Barbaro tralatum annotamenta, quibus Morborum et Remediorum Vocabula obscuriora... explicanatur. [Venice: Aloisius & Franciscus Barbari, 1516]. Two parts in one, folio, 291 x 202 mm., later half calf, spine gilt; small wormhole (wormtrack on a few leaves) penetrating most of text block (occasionally affecting letters of portions of letters throughout), some very slight marginal worming, but a crisp copy. The definitive edition of Ermolao Barbaro's Latin translation. The second part contains the collection of Barbaro's original commentaries on pharmacy (corollarii), with a preface by G.B. Egnazio, printed here for the first time. NLM/Durling 1140.
