London: Edmund Bollifant 1595. 181 x 136mm, old polished calf, covers ruled in gilt, g.e., corners and edges rubbed, rebacked, minor spotting to title and preliminary leaves, minor repairs to one corner of last three leaves, but otherwise a very good copy of a book seldom found in fine condition. Third Edition, translated by Henry Lyte from the French translation of Clusius. Title-page within wide border of typographical ornaments, printed in black letter, woodcut ornaments, eight-line and smaller woodcut capitals.
