"Bindle Stiff" on road to Sacramento
Gelatin silver print. 1935. Titled and dated in ink by the artist, annotated Maynard made sketch of what looks like same figure also called "Bindle Stiff" in rain. Did he sketch it from this photo? J & D in pencil by John and Daniel Dixon on the reverse of the flush-mount.
