Two works in one volume, 24o in 12s (104 x 53 mm). Contemporary English dos-à-dos binding of white satin embroidered with a large central flower on both sides in shaded white, pink and green within an oval medallion on sides of silver gilt thread, above and below the centerpiece on each cover are embroidered floral designs in relief in silver thread, spine with alternating floral designs, two on each spine in relief and silver thread, edges gilt and gauffered (some wear and rubbing, hinges reinforced with cloth); board case (broken). Provenance: sold Parke Bernet, 29 November 1948, lot 30, Emil Offenbacher agent.
