Eliot," and, on the verso of the endpaper opposite, by all the members of the cast at the "Mercury Theatre October 31st 1946," including Wheatley, who played "Harry" (occasional pencil directions in text), original cloth, dust-jacket (torn at head and foot of spine with slight loss); and 2 other copies of the play, one also inscribed by Eliot to Wheatley, the other the actor's working copy, with his stage directions.
