ELVIS PRESLEY TRUNK
A smallish trunk used to transport Elvis Presley's wardrobe to the New York City offices of RCA Records where it was cut into swatches which were then placed in each individual 1971 album titled 'Elvis/The Other Sides/Worldwide Gold Award Hits Vol.2.' This particular trunk was one out of twenty-five that were sent, is square-shaped, has yellow vinyl upholstery and a label glued to the front reading Elvis'/Summer Festival/RCA Records/All Star Shows/Wardrobe Trunk No____/Insured. Included is the above-mentioned record with an Elvis fabric swatch, a set of buttons that came from one of EP's cut-up articles of clothing and a photocopied article showing RCA exectives (including the current consignor) opening one of the trunks in 1971, before all of the King's clothes were ruined for the promotion!
