Small 8o (145 x 87 mm). Collation: A8. Roman, italic and gothic types. Printer's woodcut device on title. (Small stain in blank portion of title page.) Panelled morocco gilt, pastiche binding by Devauchelle, matching slipcase. Provenance: H.P. Kraus, private collection (since rebound).
THE ONLY COPY EXTANT of the first stock catalogue of the Amsterdam branch of the Elzevier Press. Another copy, recorded at the Hamburg city library, was destroyed in World War II; two facsimiles were made from it in the 1850's. Willems 12; Pollard and Ehrman pp. 103 and 112.
