Extracts from the Several Treaties...between Great Britain and other Kingdoms...of such Articles...as relate to the Duty...of the Commanders of His Majesty's Ships of War, London: [n.p.], 1758. 4° (285 x 220mm). Engraved frontispiece vignette and another on last page. (Last leaf a little browned.) Contemporary red roan, gilt spine with black label, wide gilt border round sides composed of interlinking drawer-handles, star tools and tulips, gilt edges (upper hinge cracked, slightly rubbed). Provenance: John Clevland (c.1707-1763, book-label) -- by descent to the present owners. Third edition.
With two others similar: A General Treatise of the Dominion of the Sea (London, 1729) and A Collection of all such Statutes ... as any way relate to the Admiralty (London, 1755). (4)
