Paris: Louis-Catherine Silvestre, 16 February 1845.
8o (222 x 140 mm). Later half cloth, original wrappers bound in, uncut.
One of the few copies on strong paper, with the owner's name printed in full on the title-page, of a sale that did not take place. It was announced for 16 February 1845, but the collection was acquired by Techener, who put it up for sale the following year, with a new catalogue. This catalogue is considered a more handsome piece of printing, with the titles of the "gothiques" printed in Gothic type.
