(Dampstaining throughout, mostly pale, heavy on a few leaves, otherwise a fresh copy). Second edition, of arguably the most famous book on pirates in any language, greatly expanded from the original Dutch edition of 1673. This edition incorporates four sources: one, Exquemelin's original account; two, a translation of Basil Ringrose's account; three, the narrative of Raveneau de Lussan; and four, the account Montauban published in 1689 as Relation du voyage du sieur de Montauban.
