EC: I loved it - the playability of that guitar is phenomenal. The neck, and the feel, and the action are perfect. But [I found] that thing with the pegs a bit intimidating.
LD: The guy that we bought this guitar from had taken out the original banjo pegs, and he'd come up with a type of peg which a lot of flamenco guys use and love...You have to tighten the screw to get enough grip on it, but not overtighten it or you'll strip it. If you're used to that type of thing it's ok...[otherwise]..it's trial and error to get the tension right. But it's a lovely guitar. ...It's one of the last ones Gerundino made...It is quite stable now...[we changed the pegs] ..The machine heads are fine.
EC: It's a great guitar.
CW: How long have you had this one?
LD: We got it for the George Harrison rehearsals..2002.
CW: Would it have been used at home?
EC: A little bit.
