PRESENTATION COPY TO ANNE OBER, WIFE OF FITZGERALD'S LITERARY AGENT, inscribed by the author on front free endpaper: "For Anne Ober, Hoping that none of her descendants will be sad young men. F. Scott Fitgzerald" (echoing the book's title); with Harold Ober's signature on inside front cover. Fitzgerald's third collection of stories, including two of his finest: "The Rich Boy" and "Winter Dreams."
