    Lot Essay

    INDENTCaptain Charles Antoine de Guirry Dalglish, born 1883, Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, educated at the Oratory School, Edgbaston, joined the Black Watch from the Militia January 1901, and served in the South African War 1901-02; Lieutenant 1903, Captain 1910, Captain Dalglish died 9 September at Sablonnieres from wounds received on the previous day during the Battle of the Aisne.
