    FOUR GEORGE III ROYAL SILVER TABLE-CANDLESTICKS
    THREE WITH MARK OF ROBERT SHARP, LONDON, 1789, ONE WITH THE MARK OF GEORGE HEMING AND WILLIAM CHAWNER, LONDON, 1780
    Each on square gadrooned base, the fluted stems with foliage cast knop, terminating in spool-shaped socket with detachable nozzle, the bases of three engraved with the Royal arms within the Garter motto, the other engraved with the Prince of Wales feathers, the nozzles each engraved with the Royal crest within Garter motto, each marked underneath and on nozzle, further marked on one socket, engraved underneath one with a scratchweight '26=9', later applied under each base with four metal fixing bolts
    10¾ in. (27.4 cm.) high
    gross weight 98 oz. 15 dwt. (3,071 gr.)
    The Royal arms are for King George III (1760-1820). (4)
