FOUR JADE CARVINGS
SHANG DYNASTY (c. 1600-1100 BC) AND LATER
The first is a russet jade rounded rectangular pendant, which is decorated with incised angular scrolls. The second is a mottled grey jade plaque shaped as an archaic phoenix with incised details of the feathers. The third is a small dark brown jade cong. The fourth is a yellow jade pendant fashioned as a figure wearing long robes.
