Titles within woodcut border, many woodcut illustrations in the text (vol. one lacking a leaf of preliminaries and the final gathering, vol. II lacking 4 leaves at the beginning, vol. III lacking A6 and the final gathering, titles of vols. I & III defective, many tears and defective corners, usually with some loss of text). Late 17th-century mottled calf (lower hinge of volume III split). STC 11228.
With 9 other books including Francis Hutchinson's An Historical Essay concerning Witchcraft (London, 1720, contemporary calf), A Compleat History of the Intrigues of Priests and Nuns [bound with other related works] (London, 1746) and Otto Vaenius's Vita D.
