Catalogue of the library of the Marquis de Ganay, identified by Potier on the inside of the front wrapper, and who also notes that this catalogue is limited to an edition of 100. The Marquis mentioned is most likely Charles-Alexandre (1803-1881), who continued adding to the collection formed by his father Antoine-Charles (1769-1849). Their library was sold at auction in 1881.
