The contemporary crown-size Wyon patterns of 1910, with the obverse portrait of George V came with two reverses, undated, as this, with the date in the obverse legend (ESC 382-386B) or with the dragon raised on a ground line, with the date below (ESC 387-396B). There were no contemporary pattern Crowns dated 1911, the first year of the new coinage.
