Bearded old Man with a Hat, from Raccolta di Teste II (R. 220; De V. 176)
etching, 1773-4, with a Three Crescents and Arrow watermark, a very fine proof impression of the first state before the number and before the reduction of the plate (not recorded by Rizzi), with sharp, inky plate edges, with wide margins, a deckle edge at left, a small pinhole at the upper edge of the sheet, some very light, yellow paper discoloration in the outer margins, tiny stains and very faint, scattered foxing, a horizontal crease in the lower margin, generally in very good condition
