2 original parts (all published), large 2° (560 x 380mm). Inserted letterpress slip concerning 'The discovery of a fine species of Kangaroo [etc.]'. 30 fine hand-coloured lithographic plates by H.C. Richter after Richter or Gould, printed by C. Hullmandel. (Slight spotting to the 9th plate in part I, the Black-gloved Kangaroo, final free endpaper holed in part I, 60mm. tear to lower blank margin of the 8th plate in part II, the Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby.) Original green cloth-backed boards, letterpress titling to upper covers (extremities rubbed, some unobtrusive soiling to covers). Purple cloth box, red leather label on upper cover.
