The binding on the copy of Occasionall Meditations appears to be related to the 'Gloria deo' angel tool used on the Bacon-Toledo travelling library set (cf. Nixon and Foot The History of Decorated Bookbinding in England, 1992, pp.48-50 Fig 41a). (7)
