HAM, Thomas. A Map of Australia Felix, compiled & carefully revised from the Colonial Government Surveys, Crown Lands Commissioners & Explorers Maps, Private Surveys &c., Melbourne: Thomas Ham & Co., 1847. Engraved map, hand-coloured in outline. (A few short tears at fold, some light browning and spotting), 450 x 690mm., framed and glazed. Provenance: "The Right Honourable Lord John Russell" (early inscription on verso visible through cutaway section). According to Tooley, Thomas Ham was "active between 1850 and 1865." This map, published 3 years earlier, is not included in his The Mapping of Australia.
