PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by Heathcote on front free endpaper. The second, printed, edition of the catalogue of the much enlarged Hursley Park Library, now comprising, circa 6000 volumes; the arrangement has remained the same, the Index of Books and Subjects now occupies 362 columns. The edition was probably very limited and intended for use in the library.
