FIRST EDITION of Hemingway's first book, one of 300 copies. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY HEMINGWAY on the front free endpaper: "For Ralph Blum from Ernest Hemingway." Blum is possibly the literary agent for whom publisher and agent Donald S. Friede was a story editor in the late 1940s. Hanneman A1. A VERY FINE COPY.
