Half title, frontispiece and 7 plates by Gordon Browne tinted in green, decorations, 32-pages of publisher's advertisements at the end. (Some light mainly marginal staining, a few spots.) Original red pictorial cloth gilt (extremities lightly rubbed, a little faded and lightly stained, bumped, spine darkened). Provenance: Sidney Smith (Sunday School Prize label dated 1890 mounted on front free endpaper). FIRST EDITION.
