Chancery 4to, 190 x 133mm. (7 7/16 x 5 1/4in.), late nineteenth- or early twentieth-century white pigskin, spine lettered in blind, title, final page and a few other leaves quite badly stained, a few slight thin areas and very minor tears, small patch to upper margin of x2 catching four letters.
Collation: AA bb-cc dd a-zz A-F G H-L M N-O P . 188 leaves. Type 78B. 41 lines and headline. Double column. Title printed in red and black with two woodcuts of plants, printer's device on last page with the French royal arms of Jean II Trepperel [Renouard Marques 1078], 306 text woodcuts of plants etc. (including those on title, excluding device at end), ornamental woodcut initials. EXTREMELY RARE.
