LARGE-PAPER COPY. PRICED and with buyers' names in a contemporary hand; second edition of the Index. A valuable resource, tantamount to a bibliography of Spanish books. The Heredia collection includes the library of Vincente Salvá y Pérez which Heredia purchased (see below). Salvá's extensive collection of 4,070 books was acquired by Heredia and enlarged to the 8,304 lots sold here. An index to the Salva and Heredia catalogs, compiled by G. Molina Navarro, was published in Madrid in 1913. Taylor, p.25.
