ABBEY BY ROGER POWELL AND PETER WATERS, in collaboration with Sheila Waters, Froxfield, Hamps, 1965: black morocco striated in blind, covers inlaid with eight vertical strips of green, blue and purple morocco stamped with scenes from the Canterbury Tales, a single gilt fillet, gilt-lettered, gilt edges, Chemise and slipcase. Provenance: Major J.R. Abbey (Sotheby sale, sixth portion, 19 October 1970, lot 2725).
