With highly engraved skeletonised gilt-finished movement, 76 jewels, three armed one minute tourbillon carriage with monometallic balance, repeating on two hammers, the silvered matt dial with Roman numerals, four subsidiary dials indicating phases of the moon combined with 30 minutes register, day combined with constant seconds, date and month combined with 12 hours register, eccentric window for year, the heavy circular case with glazed back, sapphire-set crown, repeating slide in the band, split second chronograph mechanism operated through the crown and two buttons in the band, together with a platinum IWC buckle, IWC Certificate, original fitted wooden presentation box and outer packaging, two additional leather bracelets, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

This model was produced in 1993 to celebrate the company's 125th anniversary in a limited edition of 125 examples only. It is the most complicated wristwatch ever made by IWC.
