Engraved frontispieces, large folding engraved map of Rajast'han hand-coloured in outline, 49 engraved and lithographic plates, some folding, illustrations, and 2 folding letterpress tables. Half-titles. Errata leaf at end of volume I. (Map with 70mm. clean tear, some spotting and offsetting.) Contemporary tree calf, spines gilt, marbled edges (upper joints split, extremities rubbed, corners worn). Provenance: Frances Mary Richardson Currer (1785-1861, bookplate) -- purchased from B. Quaritch, London, January 1930, for £18 18s.
