One plate, from Série Noire et Rouge (D. 32)
etching, 1938, on Arches, signed in pencil, numbered 9/30, (there were also a few artist's proofs and hors commerce impressions), published by P. Loeb, Paris and P. Matisse, New York, with full margins, a horizontal fold 15 mm. from the lower sheet edge, six pin holes on either side of this fold, some pale light-staining, remains of old tape at the upper sheet corners verso just showing through, otherwise in good condtion
