BUILT ON THE TYNE, THE INANDA WAS BOMBED AND SUNK IN THE DOCKS IN LONDON BUT WAS RAISED AND REPAIRED. HOWEVER, SHE WAS NOT TO SURVIVE WORLD WAR II AND WAS TORPEDOED OFF TRINIDAD IN JULY 1942.
