    JONCQUET, DIONYSIUS. Hortus regius. Paris: Dionysium Langlois, 1665. Folio, 332 x 222 mm., eighteenth-century boards, uncut, spine worn; title frontispiece and first few leaves with light brown stain at center, some leaves lightly browned, minor marginal spotting; calf-backed cloth folding case. FIRST EDITION of a catalogue os some 4,000 plantes in the Jardin Royal des Simples. Engraved frontispiece, woodcut coat-of-arms on title. Apparently a variant issue than in Hunt, which bears the title Hortus Regius pars prior, but is otherwise the same as this copy. Hunt 298; Pritzel 4468.
