In a facsimile dated 19 February 2001, Professor Nicola Spinosa confirms the autograph status of this picture, on the basis of a transparency, explaining that the attribution to the studio given in his 1978 Opera completa was based on a bad photograph.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
