Doesburgh, woodcut device on title and at end, initials (small piece missing from margin of engraved title, some light spotting), CONTEMPORARY PRIZE VELLUM GILT, the covers with gilt ruled borders enclosing a central allegorical female figure holding a shield and lance, the plinth with the motto "Hagae Comitis", the spine with raised bands and gilt floral motifs repeated in the compartments (lightly stained, corners a little bumped), later green silk ties, lengthy early Latin inscription on verso of the front free endpaper to Cornelius (?)Booy from J. Vollenhoven, bookplate (2).
