Bodmer and others, three of the plates in two colours. (Margins spotted, old dampstain to lower left corner, small marginal tears to the 16th, 24th and 46th plates.) Publisher's red roan-backed boards, title blocked on upper cover, g.e. (worn). Provenance: Charlotte Caldwell Blake (presentation inscription from her mother, Zurich, 20 August 1834).
A high quality selection of views. The work was clearly issued in various forms (coloured and uncoloured), with various collections of views. Although the title corresponds approximately to Lonchamp 1675, the plates vary.
