KENT -- John CULLUM. "Sketches in Kent 1823," an album of watercolours and pen-and-ink sketches of Kent on ca. 70 leaves, 4°, 200 x 160mm., in roan-backed boards (rather worn). A pencil note on the front pastedown reads, "Many of the old buildings depicted in the following sketches have now disappeared, and this, perhaps, is the only existing record of their having been. To 'Kent' collectors this volume [illegible word] very great interest." A printed label mounted on the upper cover reads "Sketches by John Cullum, Drawing-Master, Chelsea."
